To our authors, or some words about our editorial policy

We presume that the Constitution is the main tool to use when it comes to the finding of solutions for the most important problems that society faces. The Constitution, of course, cannot answer all of our questions, but it does set the framework and procedures that help us find those answers.

The Constitution by its nature and the way it affects the society is primarily a legal act. Therefore, the constitutional research is primarily conducted by legal scholars. However, due to the fact that the influence of the constitution can potentially manifest itself in relation to any area of society, as also due to its regulatory weight, it is inevitable and necessary to turn to other disciplines as well, especially political science, sociology, philosophy, psychology and economics. Our journal is interdisciplinary in nature and that is  why we encourage submissions not only  from lawyers, but also from scholars  in other disciplines, whose research addresses various problems of constitutional regulation.

Another important aspect of our editorial policy is the active use of the comparative method. We believe that despite all the variety of external manifestations, the list of problems that arise in society is finite. Therefore, the study and comparison of functionally identical approaches and institutions used in different countries and in different eras can provide significant assistance in the finding of optimal constitutional solutions.
